A modern or a city girl is a butterfly, but a village girl is simplicity personified. She is shy and bashful. She is hardworking and not fond of case and comfort. Likewise, she does not use rouge, powder, paint, polish, snow, lipstick and nail polish or any other artificial aids to beauty.

Once upon a time, in a small village nestled in the heart of the countryside, there lived a young girl named Latha. She had always dreamed of leaving her humble beginnings behind and experiencing the world outside of her tight-knit community. Despite her parents' wishes for her to stay and help with the family farm, Latha yearned for something more.

One day, an opportunity presented itself in the form of a job listing in the city. Latha knew this was her chance to make a better life for herself, so she gathered her courage and set off on the long journey to the city.

As Latha stepped off the bus and took her first look at the towering buildings and bustling streets, she felt a mix of excitement and intimidation. She had never seen anything like it before. She was so different from her village people and the ambiance which she was used to.

Despite her initial nerves, Latha quickly set about finding the job she had come for. It wasn't easy, as she had no experience and little formal education. But with her determination and hard work, she was eventually able to secure a position at a local factory.

At first, the work was difficult and tiring. But as she settled into her new routine and made friends with her coworkers, Latha began to appreciate the sense of purpose and camaraderie that came with her job. She also quickly adapted to the city life, exploring her new surroundings and discovering the many wonders it had to offer.

As the months passed, Latha saved every penny she could and managed to get herself a small place to stay. Though her apartment was small, it was her own and she was proud of it. She was still in contact with her family but they had no idea of her struggles and accomplishments in the city.

As the years went by, Latha's hard work and dedication paid off. She was promoted to a higher position at the factory and was able to afford a better apartment in a nicer area of the city. She was proud of what she had accomplished, and she knew that she had her parents' support despite their initial reluctance.

Despite her success, Latha never forgot her roots and the simple, hardworking values that had brought her to the city in the first place. She would often return to her village to visit her family and friends, and she made sure to give back to the community whenever she could.

Latha's journey from village girl to city woman had been a long and difficult one, but it had also been filled with invaluable lessons and experiences. She knew that she would never have been able to achieve her dreams if she had stayed in her village. Latha was happy and content with her life, she may not have all the luxuries but she had something more valuable, a sense of purpose and a feeling of being truly alive.

The end.
